Choosing the right Exterior Painting contractor can be a daunting task. Everyone says they are the best and how can you know the truth. The first step is proper Power Washing using low pressure techniques in order to not damage your windows or siding. What this does is removes dirt, mold, mildew and pollen as we apply our specially formulated detergent called Radical Revolution(TM) This detergent is safe for your family and is bio degradable at the same time. We never would apply a harsh chemical to a surface that may cause damage ever! This detergent also has a solution that will actually help the paints stick better to the wood which in turn results in a longer life of the paint job.(We gotcha Covered, Literally):

Its at this point that we will cover all landscaping with drop cloths, cover all  fixtures with paper.tape, cover all areas such as brick and stone to ensure no paint is sprayed or spattered onto its surface. Keeping you safe also helps us be more productive, because if we are cleaning, we are not painting. 

This is a major step in making sure that the final result from a paint job finishes flawlessly. We use a combination of scraping and feather sanding (By hand or electronically/cordless) to remove any loose paint as well as feather in high/low spots. (All paint chips are picked up after each day and we always test paint for asbestos to ensure we do not cause clouds of cancer causing agents. If we discover your home is coated with this lead base paint, we will advise a different route for its removal) We will apply 1 full coat of primer on all surfaces to be painted according to its substrate(Type of materials) We use a high solids high build primer to cover imperfections left behind from previous coatings.

We will go back over all loose caulking that was dug out during the prepping stage and re caulk using a 55 year latex caulk to ensure all seams are sealed tight to not allow bugs, water, mold or other contaminants to enter your home. 

We apply 2 coats of a 100% acrylic paint in a satin finish to all the body of your home, shutters and trim. We reserve the gloss for entry doors due to the high traffic coming in and out on a daily basis. We use both hand brush, rolling and spraying techniques depending on the need per your unique home. 

 Inspection Time!

We will not only go over your entire home with a fine tooth comb ourselves, but will schedule you to be there and go on a visual check to get your sign off on the exterior paint application. All paint will be labeled accordingly in the cans they come out of for your future need of touch ups.
